Country Music Star Cole Swindell to Appear at John Deere Classic Charity Concert
Country music star Cole Swindell will perform at the John Deere Classic’s second annual charity concert on Wednesday, July 12, at the Waterfront Convention Center in Bettendorf, Iowa.
Tickets to see the Platinum-selling country music hit-maker in this intimate setting are priced at $100, with proceeds going to support the tournament’s goal of delivering bonus dollars to all Birdies for Charity organizations. Complimentary beer and wine are included in the ticket price.

Opening for Swindell will be country music up-and-comer Eric Dodd.
Both Swindell and Dodd plan to play in the morning wave of Wednesday’s John Deere Classic Pro-Am at TPC Deere Run. The performers’ exact tee times will be available tournament week.
The concert comes during the 47th John Deere Classic, July 10-16, at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois. 2016 champion Ryan Moore will defend his title in a field of 156 PGA TOUR pros. Tournament tickets are available at johndeereclassic.com.
Last year’s inaugural tournament-week benefit concert featured country music star Jake Owen and raised $110,000 for the Birdies for Charity Bonus Fund.
The 2016 John Deere Classic helped raise a record $10.5 million for 491 local and regional charities and was named Tournament of the Year by the PGA TOUR. The tournament also received the Tour’s Most Engaged Community Award.
On April 2 of this year the John Deere Classic and the PGA TOUR marked the 20th anniversary of their multi-faceted sponsorship agreement, which solidified the tournament in the Quad Cities and grew its charitable impact to $81.3 million.
COLE SWINDELL
A native of Georgia, Cole Swindell is a six-time No. 1 country music hit-maker whose recently released second album, You Should Be Here, immediately shot to No. 1 on the iTunes Top Country Album Chart. Swindell also just released his seventh career single, Flatliner, which features his friend, mentor, and 2017 tour-mate Dierks Bentley. The PGA TOUR began its run in the Quad Cities in 1971. John Deere, whose world headquarters is in Moline, Ill., assumed title sponsorship of the tournament in 1998 and is committed through 2023. The tournament moved to TPC Deere Run in 2000.
Now in its 47th year, the tournament helped raise $10.5 million for nearly 500 charities in 2016, ranking it first on the PGA TOUR in per capita contributions at $28 for each of the 375,000 residents of the Quad City area and among the top three overall in charity contributions on the PGA TOUR.
