2022 JOHN DEERE CLASSIC HELPS RAISE A RECORD $13.9 MILLION FOR CHARITY

The 2022 John Deere Classic helped raise a record $13,908,668 million via its Birdies for Charity program and will pay a 7% bonus to its 481 participating charities, tournament officials announced Monday at the John Deere Pavilion in downtown Moline.
This year’s total exceeds by $89,514 the previous record of $13,819,154, which was set in 2019.

Continuing its role as a vital engine for charity, the 2020 John Deere Classic helped raise $12.22 million for 465 local and regional charities even though the tournament was canceled because of COVID-19 pandemic concerns.
Tournament officials also announced that each participating charity will receive a five percent bonus in addition to the money raised through the Birdies for Charity program.

The 2019 John Deere Classic helped raise a record $13.82 million for 542 local and regional charities, tournament officials announced Thursday at John Deere World Headquarters.
Tournament officials also announced that each participating charity will receive a 7.25 percent bonus in addition to the money raised through the Birdies for Charity program, 50 percent more than the tournament’s guaranteed five percent bonus.
